Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday, friends! It's been ages since I've done one of these it seems, and since I didn't read any books this month, I'm skipping this month's Share Your Shelf. I'll pick up with that again next month, hopefully!

This week I'm thankful for:

  • the best quiet time with God and Him reminding me time and again how He hears my prayers and provides what I need

  • my amazing family and friends (We talk endlessly!)
  • beautiful weather to walk in
  • pretty scenery
  • social media that makes me laugh
  • my work family
  • a direct answer to a big prayer and the courage to take a step of faith
  • a sweet treat for when I'm craving one, brought to me by Marilyn
  • God's mercies that are new every morning
  • the first cup of coffee each morning

What are you thankful for this week? I'd love to hear from you! Also, I'm sorry that I forgot about the Currently link party yesterday morning! I did make a post that afternoon and it's live now, if you'd like to link up with me and join in. I hope you do and I'll try to do better next month. Thanks for being here to encourage me each day! You are all amazingly kind and beautiful hearted people. I appreciate you so much! Love to all, friends!

  1. Great list of items to be thankful for! I am thankful for lessons learned and relearned (how quickly I forget things- I have read through the Bible multiple times and it seems very frequently, I'll read something and think, why does this seem new to me??) from Bible reading. Have a great day!

    1. Thanks, friend! Oh, that is something good to be thankful for. I can say the same! My pastor always says that as we read the Bible, the Bible reads us. That's why we see things as if for the first time in certain situations or in passages we've read a hundred times. Isn't that cool? I hope you have a great day!

  2. I am thankful for my time off this week. I think I underestimated how hard it would be/has been to grieve my mom without any time off other than what I took off for the arrangements and funeral. I think I have decided to take off a day here and there before the end of the school year because I do have the days and that will help me with all that I have to do. I am thankful for more time with my family of four. I am thankful for all the God has blessed me with.

    1. I know you are! What a gift it is for you to get some much needed rest. You've had the most difficult beginning of 2025. I think it's smart for you to use up all those days! Don't you dare let them go to waste!
