March Moments

 

Happy Tuesday, friends! I thought I'd talk about some favorite moments from this month. Can you believe we're at the end of March already? Time is flying by with lightning speed, and I want to document all the moments. This will be a picture-heavy post, so I'm jumping in! 

I loved starting my month in Dallas with Noah and Mom! 

I hated saying goodbye to sweet No that morning, but I didn't cry this time. 

I love that the minute I got home, Marilyn was at my door and we were off to eat dinner and to meet up with my friend. This was an epic night; we drove around laughing ourselves silly over things we were talking about. I highly recommend doing this regularly with a friend! 

A makeup-free Monday was delightful! Also, Mama was tired on this day. 

Seeing my friend Matt from church in a professional manor was a bonus in March! He's helping me out with some things financially. 

I always love one on one time with my guys, and afternoon talks with Jonah are stellar. 

Green was definitely the color of my month!

I love unexpected visits from Drew while I was at work one Thursday! 

I loved watching Jonah install these cool lights behind his tv one night; we proceeded to sit there and watch YouTube videos after he finished. It's the coolest thing ever!

Friday nights are for the girls! I loved hanging with my friend Tiffany one night at our favorite local restaurant. 

It's not a Friday if I don't think about Dad at some point; I spent some time at his grave one such afternoon and had a good cry afterward. I say "good", because crying is actually therapeutic. 

I enjoyed coffee out of this French press several mornings this month and wasn't mad about it at all.

I love my new mirror, and so does Chloe! She loves to look at "the pretty girl". That's what I say when she chases or stares at herself. 🤣 

Bonfires with my Mare are my favorite! I've got a big one coming up! 

I loved having coffee with my friend Candace at Carrington Oaks Coffee! 

Birthday flowers are always a great idea! 

I loved having my three Memphis guys over for birthdays! 

Baby Jolene was a big highlight for me this month!

The day I signed my divorce papers was huge; this was me documenting the day and feeling good about myself. 

Visiting John Mark's with my friend Teresa was a highlight! And so was the girls time we had two weeks ago!

Losing more weight has been a highlight, as well as feeling better and exercising. 

This night of dinner was so fun! This was my celebratory dinner the day I signed my divorce papers. 

Talking to my brother Trey a lot has been a highlight, and so was seeing this picture of him and my nephew Jax. 

Walking with Marilyn has been a huge highlight of March, as well as all the time we've spent together lately. Twelve hours barely go by and we always seem to have huge life updates. It's crazy! 

And other highlights that I don't have pictures of include:

• all the talks and time spent with Mom, Lisa, Trish, Debi, Missy, Teresa, Andrea, and Abbey
• the beautiful warmer weather
• clothes fitting better (looser)
• time spent getting to know myself as a single woman
• time spent with a new friend that I met early in February
• opportunities of ministry at work
• things to look forward to each week
• having lots of plans to keep me out of my house
• friends who get me, who pick up the phone every time I call or text, and who hear me talk about the same things over and over again
