Friday Favorites, 3.7.2025.

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you've had a good week! Mine has been mostly great; I'm looking forward to this weekend and upcoming week/weekend. I'll tell you why later! I have some favorite moments from this week that I want to talk about today!

Water Wednesday is a favorite for my plant babies! I love the plants that "tell" you when they need water. My peace lily droops when she's ready for a drink.

This quote was a favorite that I saw online this week.

Baby Jolene is my favorite! I've gotten to hold her twice since she's been born. Perks of my job!

Seeing Drew at my work is always a favorite! He came to see me for about ten minutes yesterday, and it was the highlight of my day.

This green Old Navy button-down from two years ago is still a favorite...and so is this bright green.

Checking things off of my to-do list at work is another favorite. I had a long list of things to do yesterday that I accomplished before I walked out at 3:15.

Stella is about to be the new household favorite...

Chloe is getting a baby sister in two weeks! These are Jonah's dogs, and I've already told him they're his, and that I'm not pitching in to help much at all.

It's always a favorite when Jonah and I talk about all the things.

This was another quote that I loved this week!

Makeup free Monday was my favorite day this week.

Time with Marilyn and this salad was a favorite this week!

And so was getting two days' worth of hugs from Noah.

What was a favorite for you this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!

Jenn ❤️

  1. What a great week of favourites! I think my favourite this week was getting to hug a couple of our friends visiting from Kenya! It had been too long since we'd seen them.

    1. I know I am! I'm drooling just looking at her picture. I love green all the time, but especially right now! All I have that are this bright are this shirt and a dress from a couple of years ago. I am sure you'll love being home this weekend!

    1. Stella! Isn't she a sweet baby? She'll be a red AKC registered Golden Retriever. Thank you! I just wasn't feeling it that day since I was mostly home all day long. I'm so glad we had time together this week! I love you, friend! I hope you enjoy yours as well!

    1. Thank you! I just wasn't feeling it that day, you know? I felt tired and my eyes were kind of gritty, so I decided to not waste my products. That sounds amazing! I'm sure you'll enjoy that nicer weather.

  7. I was thinking the same as Kirsten. You have beautiful skin. Can't wait to see all the future photos of Stella (by the way, love the name). Hope you have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you! I will have tons, you know that by now! Isn't that such a great name? I think it's really cute to match Chloe's name. By the way, I've now named both of his dogs. 🤣

  8. Your plants look great, I am rubbish at keeping them alive!
Baby Jolene is just adorable and Stella!! Aww! What a cutie and how exciting that she will be part of the family.

    1. Thank you! I am too, usually, but these easier ones have been able to survive despite my shortcomings. Isn't Jolene the yummiest little thing ever?? I cannot wait to hold her again! I'm excited for her to get here. I know it'll be love at first sight.

  9. I do watering Fridays and I love those plants that get droopy or curly leaves so I know it needs watering. I used to be so bad at keeping my plants alive but making it a weekly thing has really helped. Babies and puppies, and surprise visits and friends-- what's not to love about your week?

    1. Whatever works, right? I know! It was the best week getting to have those things present.

  10. I have a black thumb but someone gifted me a Christmas cactus with peach colored blooms three years ago - it has never bloomed again until this year, but now the flowers are yellow! Of course I could research it but I prefer to just call it magic ;). Baby golden retrievers are the CUTEST puppies of all, I think. Glad you got time with your boys.

    1. You made me laugh! I also have a black thumb; and let's go with calling it magic! That's so much more fun. I love golden retrievers! I think they're the best breed and I had always dreamed of having one; I love living vicariously through my son!

  11. Oh my - another dog. I didn't see that one coming! You are the best mom having a new puppy in the house:) Sounds like a great week! Enjoy the weekend -

    1. Right? I didn't see it coming either, but Chloe keeps having her pals taken away and now is the only dog in the house. She needs a sibling!
