Happy Friday, friends! It's my favorite day of the week, and I am excited for my weekend. How's your week been? I had what felt like another epic week, most of which you already know about. I had lots of favorites this week, so buckle up!

I loved visiting my favorite happy place this week! I spent Monday doing errands for myself, regarding things I've been putting off. This was one of many stops that day, but I was thankful that the day was beautiful and that I had the time off to do this! I'll keep you posted on this book!

Going to the AT&T store this wasn't necessarily a favorite, but this young man Kendrick sure was! He helped me so much this week with my bill; I'd been charged too much and he removed the charges and gave me a deduction for next month. While I was there about my phone, I signed up to get their internet, and got a great deal on a monthly price, including two months for free!
activity
Getting my nails done will always be my favorite! I had thought I could stop this and do my own, but honestly? I missed it and it's worth it to me to have them look so good for a month that I don't have to worry about them. I will continue doing this as I move forward in life.
jewelry
My daily bracelet stack is my favorite!
outfits
Dress season is my favorite season! And here I was on Wednesday night with baby Jolene again.
My favorite clothing items right now are wide legged pants, graphic tee shirts, sneakers, wedges, and this pastel rainbow colored striped purse strap that I attached to my neutral Michael Kors bag. I'm also in love with the color pink right now; give me all the pink, please!
This picnic on Wednesday after work with Abbey, Everly, Asher, and Violet was my favorite! The weather was amazing.

Work besties are my favorite!
Christa is my favorite, too!
As was our walk around this beautiful park and lake.
Sweet Marilyn is my favorite! We've been together so much this week, and I'm not complaining. She brought me a hanging flower basket and Jeni's Gooey Butter Cake ice cream Wednesday, and I went to a dance class with her last night. We're seeing each other tonight, tomorrow night, and probably early next week!
Lastly, this is my current favorite (secular) song; I'm going to see Old Dominion this summer at an outdoor concert venue, and I am so excited about that night! This is the song I like the most by them right now; I was playing this so loud last night on the way to Mar's, and I had all the windows down. That's also my favorite!
What was a favorite for you this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!

Cute outfits and I love your nails and your smiles in all the pics- keep shinin' and have a great weekend :).
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm planning on a great weekend. I hope you are as well!
DeleteThat was Maria by the way (anonymous sounds so mysterious!!!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know!
DeleteAlways love seeing you and Marilyn together! You are blessed, friend. You only deserve the best- have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am always glad for us to be together! I am blessed, and so fortunate with the very best of friends. God has been so good to me! Thank you for that, friend. I hope the same for you with lots of sunshine, love, and laughter!
DeleteCan I be honest? I thought you would go back to getting nails done and you should! It's something you love and it brings you joy.
ReplyDeleteThe purse strap just adds to any outfit! The pastel rainbow is so happy and fun. I love mine, too.
Ok - please start Counting Miracles. I have managed to read it this week even with school. It's so good. I am about 5 pages from the end. Nicholas Sparks can write a story.
I am glad I'm getting them done again! I do love doing this for myself, and it feels like a genuine treat to do this once a month. Thanks for that! I have three...this one, a brown toned one, and a red and green "Gucci" looking one. I have that book right now! Okay, thank you for that. I'm going to start it today!! And yes he can, girl! It's been years since I've read a book by him. I'm excited to start!
DeleteGood for you to get a manicure since that brings you joy ! Fun fact —the Nugents own a ranch down the road from us. I’m grateful we got an inch of rain yesterday (finally) and your two youngest granddaughters softball season starts this week. Have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeleteI agree! How funny; what a small world it can be sometimes. I know what you mean about the rain; we're getting it this weekend as well. I'll be glad that it'll wash away some of this terrible pollen that's trying to take us all down!
DeleteLove your nails! Dealing with cell phone stuff is such a pain! Hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love the color. I'm on a neutral nails kick right now. I hope you have a great weekend, too!
DeleteJust this afternoon found your blog and what a delight! Are you always so cheerful? I love your smile, your hair, your casual wardrobe, and your pink! I like to say, "I've never met a shade of pink that I didn't like!"
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that you are a sister in Christ. He makes all the difference in how we look at the world and in how the world looks at us!
Thanks you for sharing your cheer with us!
Hello there! I'm so glad you found my blog; I write here almost everyday, so I hope you stop by often. Thank you for taking the time to comment! I am a very optimistic person, so I will say that yes, for the most part, I'm cheerful. I treat life as a vacation and find things to look forward to in each and everyday. It helps me with life that can feel hard and heavy! I also love that we're sisters in Christ; I look forward to getting to know you more in the days to come!
DeleteWhat a fabulous week! Your nails look great...and I am so jealous of your ice cream treat.
ReplyDeleteIt really was a great week! I thought of you when I took the first bite. We'll have to find another yummy treat in Louisville!
DeleteGood for you in knowing what's important for you to spend money on. Keep getting those nails done, friend! And I can't wait for window-open, driving around season to get here.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I plan on it, since it's just a monthly thing. I am sure you'll love when that season arrives!
DeleteWhere is 5ge cute blue and white dress from, and what great manicure color is this? You look great and I love reading your blog. You look invigorated!
ReplyDeleteHello there! I got that dress last spring from Shein. You should look around on the website! Just know your size, and consider that it'll run a little small. Isn't that a great nail color? It's Lisbon Wants Moore by OPI. Thank you for the encouragement and kind words! Tell me who you are the next time you stop by. I'd love to get to know you! I feel invigorated...I can't quite explain the reasoning, but you are so right! I hope you keep stopping by since I write here almost everyday! Happy weekend to you, my friend.
DeleteAgain with the similarities! Monthly manicures/pedicures was a treat to myself after I quit smoking 13 years ago and I love it! I haven't had a pedicure since the lung surgery and my 16 year old granddaughter has been giving me my manicures (talk about special). I'm also all about the pink. . . . and the sparkles! Do you change the bracelets in your stack? My best friend has a 24k gold stack that she never removes. (No 24k for me right now)
ReplyDeleteWhat great favourites.
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic that you had some help at the AT&T store. It's good when people go above and beyond to help.
Your nails do look so good and I love that bracelet stack.
