Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday, friends! It seems like it's been a while since I've written one of these posts, so it's overdue. I'll jump in!

This week, I am thankful for:

  • prayer! I know I say this all the time, but really, what an underused gift we have at our fingertips. I don't always feel like praying, but inevitably, every time I do anyway, I feel better.
  • lunches that are brought into work. I love not having to pack a lunch!
  • my amazing family. I am so grateful for each and every one of them! They have all been there for me a lot recently, even more so than usual. I didn't feel great when I woke up Tuesday and was out of sinus medication, so my sweet stepdad Bill brought me some to work!
  • acts of kindness
  • book club!
  • my friends and the fun plans I have this weekend!
  • silly shows that make me laugh
  • books that hold my attention
  • Christmas parties! I have a work one tonight and am excited.
  • friends who volunteer to help me with big events at church
  • cold weather
  • pulling through hard days

What are you thankful for this week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!

  4. As a dog lover you will understand this story. Our pool needed some refurbishing and late last Thursday our 2 yr old small rescue pup (ironically named Angel)found a gap in the fence and snuck out! We have a dry creek bed us, and she went through the woods. Luckily I ended up finding her in a neighbor’s goat pen, and the neighbor was so helpful. Thankfully the repairs are completed so she cannot escape again. She ended up with scratched pads that were treated by our vet. I know her guardian angel was looking out for her as dusk was setting.
