Share Your Shelf

Happy Thursday, friends! I love it when we talk about books here in the blog world, and I'm happy to say that this was a much better reading month that my previous months. It still wasn't anywhere near what it used to be, but I've made improvement with being able to focus; I'll take that!

First up was this one for book club.

I love all of Pamela Kelley's book, but this one might be a new favorite! I will let you read about it yourself, but I loved the cozy feelings this book brought about. Pamela Kelley is known for talking about friendship, family, food, and wine in her books; they always take place in quaint little towns, and I love that I can picture this town, since it's one I've been to before. I highly recommend this one!

Next up was this one by Josie Silver

I'm not sure how I missed this one that released last year, but it was worth the wait. I loved the references to New York City, and the ins and outs of the characters in the book. This author is always a favorite!

This is a book that the staff is reading together at church, and I read it while I worked last Wednesday. It was really good, and helpful for the times when prayer feels like a struggle.

What have you read lately? I can't wait to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!

  1. Those first two look so cute! I usually enjoy Pamela Kelley's books too. But I don't think I've read anything by Josie Silver.

    1. You have to try her out! One of my favorite books ever was by her...One Day in December. They're great Christmas stories!

  2. Great news! 3 books is quite a lot in my book - pun intended. I am not finding much time to read lately, sadly. I may look into both of your books because I do love a seasonal one. I am trying to get into the holiday book I sent you. If I just sat for an hour I think I could do it!

    1. I know, right?! I'm so proud of myself. I know what you mean about just sitting down to read and do nothing else. That's not easy in our lives, because we all have lots of things going on.

  5. I will look for the book on prayer. It's a topic I never tire of. I'm going to look for The Christmas Inn as several have suggested that one. Have a nice day!

    1. You're welcome! I feel your pain, that's how I've been since June, and my reading took a major nose dive. I hope you can get back to it! I need short chapters, which is one reason why I love Pamela Kelley's books.

  7. Getting three books read is good! That’s all I got done last month. I don’t know how some people read so many.
