Happy Thursday, friends! I'm glad you're here to join in with us for this month's ageless style link up. This month's theme is either casual holiday or holiday. I'm excited to read your posts!
I love this dress that I bought from Shein. It was $18! I needed something festive to wear for a work Christmas party, but I ended up wearing it for another event. I will wear it more than just that once, but I love it paired with these tall brown boots that I bought from JC Penney last year.
These fun pants are my newest and last purchase for the year. My birthday was last Saturday, and these were my gift to myself. They're from Marshall's and were only $30! That makes them even better. I had fun wearing these out on the night of my birthday; me and four of my closest friends went out to dinner together. It was a dream having them all in one place, and they all hit it off fabulously!
My style is definitely holiday casual, but I think it's so much fun to dress at this time of year. Give me all the reds, greens, burgundies, sparkles, and glitter. I wear red glitter polish on my nails, and most days I wear red lipstick, and I really love wearing my red flats that you see in some of these pictures. (They were a steal from Walmart online for $12!)
What's your holiday style? I can't wait to read your posts! Thanks for joining us today, and for reading my blog. Love to all!
Jenn 🖤
Such an pretty and festive attire!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's extra fun to dress up at this time of year.
DeleteI'm pretty sure we have the same sequin pants - mine are from TJ Maxx and were $30, too! They are so fun and never go out of style. The pop of red looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they're the same! I saw the skirt too, but it felt too long on me. I love dresses, but I don't love how skirts look on me. I love the pop of red, too! Fiona Ferris would definitely approve of this!
DeleteI almost bought a pair of pants like yours at TJ Maxx. But they didn't have my size :(. Cute outfits. I love the dress!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been fun! I'm pretty sure Amy and I have the same ones. Thanks, friend!
DeleteSo many pretty holiday looks. My style is casual too.
ReplyDeleteThank you! ❤️🎄
DeleteI don't really have any festive clothes unless you count the dress that I am planning to wear on NYE, it's red and sparkly!
ReplyDeleteThose jeans do look so comfy, I love your red chequered dress and those pants are just fabulous!
I can't wait to see that dress! That sounds magical. Thank you! I love the over-the-top pants!
DeleteI don't do sweatshirts, I end up looking like a potato regardless of whether or not my weight is down to acceptable level. The sparkly pants are nice, those will go with almost any dressy top and are a bargain. Better to buy bargain clothes than to pay for fancy labels, no one can tell the difference.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about sweatshirts; there are some that I can't pull off, especially if they're too roomy. Thank you! I agree wholeheartedly.
DeleteI love all your outfits. And I really like those red shoes! Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope your week has been good, my friend. ❤️
DeleteI love all your outfits but especially those sequined pants!
ReplyDeleteI love your new sequin pants! But your holiday sweatshirt is quite fun too and of course, I am in love with your red shoes!

Thank you! I will wear them for years to come, I'm sure. I don't know why I've not worn red shoes before...I read a while back that they're really trendy right now, and someone else just commented that to wear them is very French. I feel like you're vouching for this by the compliment, so I appreciate that!
DeleteWhat a great casual holiday style in all of these looks. And i'm so glad you're loving the wide leg jeans, because I just think they are fabulous. Xoox jodie
ReplyDeleteThank you! I do love the wide leg jeans; I'm glad I took a chance on them this year!
DeleteI just heard this week that wearing "a pop of red" is not only chic but very French - especially for the holidays. Cute red shoes (or boots, as my friend who told me this had on) are the perfectr pop! Glad you had a great time on your birthday!! And what cute pants you had to wear:)
ReplyDeleteI love that! Thanks for reminding me of that; I knew that but had forgotten. Thank you, sweet friend! ❤️🎄
DeleteGreat looks lady and happy belated birthday! Love the cozy sweater and I am all for the shimmer and shine of your "birthday" pants. Merry Christmas!

Thank you! I do love the shine and shimmer of the fun pants. I know I will have them and enjoy them for years to come! Merry Christmas to you, my friend!
DeleteThose birthday pants are so cool, and I'm betting you'll have a lot of fun styling them. I keep wondering about those Halara jeans. I have been seeing ads for them all over Facebook and Instagram. But, I'm afraid I'd end up cutting so much of them off, they'd lose their oomph since I'm only 5'1"!
ReplyDeleteHave a Merry Christmas!

I love them and can see myself enjoying them for years to come. I love my Halara jeans! I fell hook, line, and sinker, and though mine were full price when I bought them, I have zero regrets! They offer petite sizing, so you should look into them. Merry Christmas to you!
DeleteGosh, I love all of these looks. I am really keen on sweatshirts these days. And like pairing them over dresses or with skirts. Your plaid dress is so festive and fun. Great idea to pair it with the boots. But my favorite piece is that pair of sparkly pants or leggings. Oh, my gravy, they look spectacular on you. Perfect for the holidays and for celebrating your b'day (happy belated) with your besties.
