Happy Thursday, friends! I will jump right in with my post for today! This week, I am thankful for:
- the love of God and the gift that prayer is
- that my boys are safe
- my amazing family
- my wonderful friends
- long showers
- afternoon naps on the days when I just cannot
- something to look forward to
- this trip that is finally happening after being postponed twice
- knowing that Jonah will be at home to hold the fort down, so to speak
- that I got to see both Graham and Drew on Monday night
- the times when I get to talk to Noah
- my work friend who greatly encourages me, and that she is back
- my job
- the gift of being organized
- my friend Kelly who will run the bookstore for me in my absence
What are you thankful for this week?
As far as the blog business goes, I'm taking a break after today until Wednesday November 6, when I'll come back for the Currently link party which opens at midnight. The prompts for November are things we're currently loving, looking forward to, smelling, preparing for, and thankful for. I'll share the December prompts on Wednesday's post.
Thanks for reading my blog today, friends! I hope you have a great rest of your week and weekend. I'll see you next week! Love to all.
Jenn 🖤
I am so glad for your trip and for your break. I pray that you come back recharged and ready to get this year over with! Decorate for Christmas and find the joy where you can when you get back. Maybe a holiday book would be good next? Like a Hallmark movie in book form - can be fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm packed and ready to go! I'm excited to get there, we have lots of fun plans. I just downloaded a Christmas book, it's funny you said that! I'm hoping that'll do the trick.
DeleteHope you are doing something fun on your blogging break...oh yeah you will see your sisters right? Have a blast-will "miss you" :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll be with my sisters! We have lots of fun things planned. I'm excited, but I'll also miss being here!
DeleteHave a wonderful, soul resting trip :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm hoping for just that.
DeletePraying that you have a wonderful trip and enjoy your blogging break. I am sorry that your life has been hard this last half of 2024 but please know that God has used your words to get me through many long and hard days. I love how you always declare your love and trust in God even in tough times. I am sure that his plan for you and your sons is so much better than you can ever imagine.
ReplyDeleteHello, my friend. Have the best time! We will be here when you return!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great trip! I've got my currently post started already but I think I'll have a few things from this weekend I'll want to include so I'm trying to hold off on finishing it just yet.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have the best time with your sisters!
