Happy Tuesday, friends! I thought I'd talk about some things I want to do before this magical season is over; before we know it, it'll be December and we'll be saying goodbye to this year. Today was day #294 in my Bible reading plan, if that tells you anything. Without further ado, I'll jump in.
- have and/or attend a bonfire and roast marshmallows
- read the cozy mystery book I picked for book club
- plan something for my birthday
- bake more treats for the people I love
- take a sunset stroll
- use the back patio more
- have more family dinner nights
- serve others on a regular basis and try to talk my sons into coming with me
- go for a sunset drive
- make something savory with pumpkin
- find a winter wine that I enjoy as much as I loved the one my friend brought Saturday night
- do more fun and new things
- spend time with my friend with a Jacuzzi night on her back patio before she moves
What things do you want to do this fall season? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog today, friends. Love to all!

I need a wine rec.! What was it? I bought 3 red wines at Trader Joe's to see what I would like. I prefer white now so reds are my new thing I am trying to like.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list!
It was so good, and from a winery in Oregon, where my friend used to live. It's by Sarver, and was a pinot noir rose. I'd imagine you can find those anywhere, so start with that and see what you can find. It was fruity with a hint of sweetness, but not too sweet, you know? Thanks, friend!
DeletePinot Noir Rose! That sounds amazing!
DeleteIt was delicious!
DeleteBaking treats sounds fun :). Though if I bake something, I will likely pass on baking with pumpkin. I don´t dislike it at all but is not something that I crave either.
ReplyDeleteI love to bake! I'm not a huge pumpkin fan, but I really like it in these muffins right now. They are delicious!
DeleteLove it all- I want to do an outdoor fire at our fire pit- drink hot buttered rum cider- host Halloween night and be a cozy and welcome place for family and friends
ReplyDeleteI love your fall check list! I've never had hot buttered rum cider, but that sounds amazing. That would be such a fun night!
DeleteYou've reminded me that there is still so much to enjoy about this season! This past weekend when we were at the lake, we roasted hot dogs and brats over our fire pit. There's nothing that tastes better on an autumn day! Happy Tuesday, Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteThere is! I hope you get to do more of that soon. That sounds like fun, and also delicious! I wholeheartedly agree. Happy Tuesday to you!
DeletePlease share the name of your cozy mystery! Your list is a great way to capture the season of autumn!
ReplyDeleteWe'll be reading Murder at the Vicarage by Agatha Christie; it's her first book featuring Mrs. Marple! Thank you!
DeleteWhat a great, doable list! Sparking fire, check! We can do some more of those.
ReplyDeleteI think it's doable, too! I am counting on doing more fires together!
DeleteThese all sound fun to me! Hope you have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI think so too! Thanks, friend!
DeleteThis sounds like such a wonderful list!
ReplyDeleteI think so too, and quite reasonable.
DeleteYou have a great list. I made a fall list around my birthday (mid-September) and have done about half of what's there. I revisited the list today and it reminded me of a couple of projects here I want to get done. Happy fall! It's my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I tried to make it achievable, and I think it is. That's great that you've done so many things on your own list! Happy fall to you, my friend, same here!
DeleteJen what a great autumn things to do list. Virtually joining you.
ReplyDeleteVisiting today from Talking About It Tuesday.
Thank you, Paula! I appreciate you taking the time to stop and comment!
DeleteSo many good ideas - but serve others regularly. I really like that! It has me thinking. What can I do to serve someone this week? Tomorrow? Happy Tuesday to you!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea, too, and I've signed up for something already! I think it's a great thing to ask ourselves. I hope this finds you well, my friend!
DeleteLove to bake for my family and friends, and have a good old sit down party with them all.
