It's another bonus blog post day! I'm joining Joanne and some others (and also Jill and Kellyann) for this link party on ageless style that takes place the third Thursday of every month. This month's focus is about items we've splurged on.
I don't splurge on many clothing items, but I have a couple of shirts that I've recently bought that were more than I'd normally pay for a top, and then I'll move onto a few other things I splurge on.
Back to shoes again...
Once again, I can't wear cheap shoes because of issues I have with my ankles and one foot. I love these Dansko sandals and have worn them a lot this summer; I love it when shoes are supportive and cute.
I know it's not clothing, but the other things I treat myself to are getting my nails done once a month, pedicures every two or three months, and I get fresh highlights every three to four months.
And those are the things I splurge on! It's fun to treat yourself, and I highly recommend it every once in a while. Thanks for reading my bonus post today, friends. Love to all!

Thank you so much for joining us this month. I love your splurges. Cream is a real "in" color this fall, so you will definitely be on-trend this fall. And I forgot about considering hair and nails a splurge, but you're right! Those are great splurges.

DeleteI do enjoy a pedicure every 3 months or so and really need one right now: with my son's college bill looming (due in a week or so), it is hard for me to justify it but I will surely get one before my birthday next month! I do sometimes splurge on a clothing item in a boutique while on vacation. It is always a nice reminder of that vacation!

I can't always justify pedicures either, so I'll keep putting if off for longer and longer until I finally give in. 🤣 That is a great way to remember a trip!
