Prime Purchases: the May edition

First up is this adorable hot pink "cover-up" style shirt. I bought it to use as a cover-up at the pool, but truthfully it's so modest and well made that I'm going to wear it as a long shirt. You cannot see through it all, and it's 100% rayon, so it'll be cool and breezy all summer long. I love it so much that I bought another one in another color and pattern. There are tons of color options to choose from!

I am only sharing this next purchase with you because I love you and I want you to have a swimsuit to love this summer. I do not love how I look in a swimsuit, but I love to swim and I needed a new one. And yes, I "needed" it, because my black one from last year is old and I'm tired of wearing it every single summer. I've been looking for a new swimsuit for two years; I even bought one last summer, then later on returned it to the store. I bought three recently from Walmart.com, but I hated all of them and returned them as well. I don't like paying $80-$100+ for a swimsuit, so I started looking on Amazon last week and found this one below.

I love it so much that I cut the tags off and washed it on the gentle cycle immediately. I can't wait for swimming season! I love the modestly of it and feel that it's way more so than my old black one with a deeper and wider V neck. I love these little flutter sleeves, even though it's a swimsuit, because I never wear sleeveless anything and I don't care if my tan line is conducive to that kind of shirt. I hate my upper arms, so I loved this style. I think it's very true to size; I bought the size that I would buy if I were buying a t-shirt, and it fit perfectly. I do think that a swimsuit needs to fit snugly so that it won't stretch in the water, and it never needs to be too big, because it'll just keep "growing" with use. I love the pattern and colors, which is why I chose the hot pink cover-up shirt.

And just because it's almost that favorite time of year for so many of us, here are a few other favorites that I love from Amazon and buy on repeat. I'll link them below with a picture, if I can find one.

I'm not including a link for this case above, but I'm looking for one similar for the newer phone I have. I love going neon all summer long, whether with accessories, jewelry, nails, or popsockets. 

I love going light and bright with both my makeup and my hair during this hot time of year. I am very minimal when it comes to makeup, which is kind of a whole thing for me right now. I've been using the Cerave tinted moisturizer with SPF, and while I do love it, this Super Goop Glow Screen is my favorite. It's worth the money and will last me for the entire season! I mix it in with a touch of foundation to give me the smallest amount of added coverage. I will post about my hotter weather makeup routine and skincare soon, so stay tuned!
