what I've Primed lately

Happy Saturday, friends! Usually I link up with Tanya for this post, but I may be too late to join in with her this month. Even so, I thought I'd share some things I've bought recently on Amazon Prime. I love to share these and read others' posts about such things, so I'd love to read about your recent purchases as well! I hope you'll leave some comment love for me at the end. Click on each picture to be taken to Amazon. Happy Priming!

Speaking of Tanya, she recommended this makeup travel bag, and I bought it after reading all the great things she had to say.

I can attest to the fact that everything she said about this bag was true. When I got to looking into this, I noticed that over 5,000 people have bought one of these in the last month. Tanya mentioned that she bought the black version, but I bought this blush color one, in the smaller size. If I'd used travel sized versions of my hair products, I would have been able to fit all of my toiletries into this one bag while I was out of town. I put my makeup and brushes in here, part of my hair products, my jewelry, and skincare things into these pockets. I was super impressed by the quality considering the price. I already had a toiletry bag, but it's too deep and doesn't fit into my suitcase as easily.

I bought my second pair of these earbuds before I left for my trip. I got these as a gift, because I love mine so much. I actually use mine all the time, including when I get a phone call while I'm cooking dinner. They're easy to use, practically invisible in my ear canal, and they hold their charge for ages. I love mine! Are you an ear bud user? These would make an excellent Christmas gift for someone!

These are the dog treats we use. We have always rewarded our dogs for good behavior, so we go through quite a bit of these. We use them when they come when we call them in from outside, we use them for puppy training, and for bribing them to be good while they get baths. Do you use treats for your dogs? We prefer these because they're tiny in size.

I bought myself this wrist key chain when I started my new job. I have to have my keys to the bookstore on me 24/7 while I'm there, so I got this to keep them tethered to me. I also used this while I was out of town and attached my wristlet wallet to it, which was super convenient in the airport. I will continue to use this, but I discovered I prefer to use my old lanyard while I'm working instead. I used this lanyard while I was an educational assistant last semester. Now I use the hook on the end for my work keys. I don't mind wearing it around my neck because of its neutral color palette.

I bought Drew this first aid kit when he was burned with refrigerant at work recently. He had nothing in his house for burns or cuts, or even anything to disinfect with. I'm rolling my eyes, because they are typical bachelors living in a typical bachelor pad.

I bought myself this calculator that I also use at work. I love that the keys and numbers are large print for my terrible eyes. 🤣

I bought these palazzo pants recently and love them! I should have sized down, but I'll make them work by washing them often. They definitely grow with each use.

This picture makes them seem cropped, but on my 5'3 frame, they're full length.

Lastly, I bought these plug-ins to use both at home and in the bookstore. I do not like that cashmere woods scent, though, so I switched both sets out for the cinnamon/apple scent instead. Both places smell divine, and I get complemented on them all the time.

What have you Primed and loved lately? I'd love to hear about it! Thanks for reading my blog, friends. Love to all!

  1. I'm so glad you liked the makeup bag. It is just the right size for me, and I was surprised how well it folds down to fit in my suitcase! I agree about the Cashmere woods scent, and I also have the same calculator. I got tired of using my phone for a calculator. Love all your great finds this month and thanks for linking up!

  2. I love both lanyards you got! And had to laugh at the bachelor pad having no first aid kit. I'm making a note that that would be a great thing to gift for any boys headed off to college or a housewarming gift for a bachelor 💡

  3. Such great finds! I have a travel bag system, but may break down and buy this bag with all the good reviews and test it. I just bought a glade air freshner yesterday and bought an apple scent that smells good.

  4. Cute wrist key chain. I know those are super popular but can't think that I would ever use one. But I want one:) And those pants look super cute and comfy. Pretty sure they would be cropped on me - lol. Happy Saturday to you too!

  6. Tanya, thanks for the great recommendation! How funny that you have the same calculator... I really needed one at work, but it's easy to lug back and forth. Thanks for hosting us each month, my friend!

  7. Thanks, Leah! I like them both too, and I will use them in different ways. That's a great gift idea for someone moving out of their parents' house!

  11. The first aid kit is a great idea! I need to get something like that for Jacob. I *think* he has band-aids but that is likely all. The pants you bought look so cute and comfy. You had many great buys during the month! I hope your weekend is a good one!

  12. Maria, I think it's a great gift idea for anyone out on their own. I wouldn't have thought about it if he hadn't been burned at work and in need of some antiseptic and bandages. Thanks, my friend, I hope you've enjoyed yours as well!
