Prime Purchases, June edition

Happy Tuesday, friends! I love this link party each month that Tanya hosts...I hope you enjoy reading about the things I love and purchased from Amazon this past month. Click on each picture to be re-directed to Amazon.

First up is this amazing shampoo that I've started using. I started using their conditioner a couple of months ago and now I've added this to my subscription. It's really thick and creamy and does a great job of moisturizing my always-dry hair.

Here's the conditioner.

I love them both so much and the price is crazy reasonable. I know you've heard me say this before, but I am a firm believer that for every expensive hair or makeup product, a great and reasonably priced dupe exists. These are all things I am not willing to spend a lot of money on, because I spend it on other things like getting my nails done every month. We're all so different and that's just my perspective on something I can save on and another thing I can splurge on to treat myself.

I bought another infamous Amazon dress that I love even more than the first one.

Here's the other print I own.

Thanks to the last Prime Purchases link up, I purchased some jelly bracelets similar to these. Mine are multi-colored and are fun for the pool or any other casual day.

I bought a new canvas purse strap that is way cuter than this one.

Mine is vertical pink stripes and looks adorable with my saddle brown handbag.

Here's the purse I attach my straps to. I had Todd cut the leather strap off (not the handles, but the strap that came with the purse) for me and I attach the clips on the new strap to the gold pieces the old strap was attached to. I like to buy purses from Ross, Marshall's or TJ Maxx. Again, this is something else I don't like to spend money on, because I don't want to be super attached to. I know lots of people who carry really nice purses and I'm happy for them! They're beautiful, but they're not for me.

As usual, we also have some other subscriptions that keep arriving, things like vitamins, supplements and shampoo for the boys. They also order tons of car parts and such, which cracks me up and has our poor dogs barking very frequently over the doorbell being rung. And I read a ton, so I'll buy an occasional book for my Kindle as well.

What's something you've purchased and loved recently? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading, friends. Love to all!

  1. You have influenced me! I am going to get the shampoo and conditioner. I can't believe the good price for the product and their great reviews. Your new dress is cute! It's nice when you find a brand and/ or style that works for you. Have a great Tuesday, friend!

  2. Maria, I hope you like the shampoo and conditioner! I was blown away by the quality of both and love them. I ended up making them a subscription and I can attest to their customer service as well. One of my bottles of conditioner came in broken and some of it had spilled out into the box, so they told me to keep the damaged one and they sent a new one. Thanks for the dress compliments! I love it so much. I hope your day is great!

  3. I agree on the purses. TJ Maxx is my go to place for a purse, wallet, etc. I do like those straps though! Your dresses look so cute on you!

  4. I agree - no reason to become super attached to a purse...or to spend good money on one. I like to get new ones without regret. And I wanted to thank you for the tip to look for a Cracker Barrel Copycat recipe. I did just that...and guess what is on the menu tonight? My husband actually requested it:) I hope it doesn't disappoint! Now, I need to go order another one of those dresses!!

  7. Jennifer- YES! And I'm so glad you found a good recipe for their casserole. It's one of our favorite dishes. You'll have to share what you think about the dress!
