Prime Purchases (from December)

Happy Tuesday, friends! This is always one of my favorite blog posts of the month, when I link up with Tanya from The Other Side of the Road for her Prime Purchases link party.

I'm sharing a few things I purchased for myself from the weeks leading up to Christmas. If you click on the picture, you'll be redirected to a new window that will take you to Amazon. Let me know if you have any issues with that, but just click on the picture and you should be able to see what I'm talking about.

I love these earrings! These are the third or fourth set I've bought and I'll continue to buy them.

I like to buy these in both silver and gold because they're so inexpensive. I also know that they'll last about six months before they begin to tarnish from use, so I feel like it's a great deal.

I bought us these new pillow covers for our bedroom.

The down inserts we have are 18'x18', so I ordered this pair in the 16'x16' size to make them fit tightly over the down inserts. I had to throw away two of the throw pillows from our bed because they were really cheap and out of shape. Pro tip: when you're buying throw pillows, only buy the kind that are filled with down and look for the ones with a removeable cover. I learned this trick from Myquillyn Smith (The Nester) and I will never buy any other kind from here out.

I bought myself some wireless earbuds for my birthday. I love them!

I'm so impressed with these! I wasn't looking for anything expensive, but something pretty basic to use for when I'm watching videos on my phone, when I'm learning my choir music or when I'm talking on the phone while I'm multi-tasking. You cannot beat this price, in my opinion and they stay charged forever.

Other things I bought were things as gifts for our sons. They all love a certain type of brand of socks that I bought for them, I bought some Nike athletic pants for one and boxers for another. What about you? I'd love to hear something you've bought and loved!

Thanks for reading my blog, friends. Love to all! ❤

  4. So nice to meet you Jennifer and thanks so much for stopping by. I am honored that you would add me to your side bar. I do not blog as I once did but sometimes life gets in the way and I decided to just go with it and blog when I can and feel inspired.

You will so enjoy your earbuds. I LOVE mine, especially for multitasking.

    Wishing you an awesome 2022!

  7. I hope the ear buds last a long time for you. I bought a pair off of Amazon and one completely stopped working after six months. Much as I don't want to, I will probably buy Apple's air pods- my kids' have lasted much longer than six months. I bought a lot of Christmas presents from Amazon. Can't beat the convenience!

  8. Beverly- Hello! That ear pod case sounds fun! One of my sons has one with a Nike logo that I love. It's perfect for him, because he loves to play basketball. I'll look forward to "getting to know you" in the coming days! Thanks for stopping by!

  9. Lea, I totally understand that. My own seems to ebb and flow, with it being more consistent here lately. It's good to be flexible, though! Life is always a little easier when we live by that motto. I don't know why I waited so long for these! They're worth it alone for the hands-free talking while I cook dinner. That happens pretty regularly, so I keep them nearby. I hope you're having a great day!

  10. Rebecca Jo, thanks! I can't wait till they come in today. I've been going without earrings for a few days in a row. Ha! I feel the exact same way and am not sure why I waited so long for these. I am so pleased with them, considering how little they cost. I hope your day has been good so far!

  11. Thanks, Tanya! I think I purchased these from your last Prime Purchases link party. Imagine that! These posts always influence me. ;) I love mine and don't mind them being in my ears like I thought I would. Up until this pair, I've been an old fashioned head phones gal. I know this sounds silly, but being in choir prompted this, since we're now wearing in-ear monitors in our ears for the praise team people. I was hoping these would get me used to being able to use those. I hope you're having a great day!

  12. Maria- I hate to hear yours didn't last! Hopefully these will...but at least if they don't, I didn't pay too much for them. My husband just bought the Samsung ones over the holiday break and loves them. If these give out, I may do the same. One thing I love about his are that they're invisible almost in his ear. I really don't want it to be super obvious when I'm wearing these. That's kind of why I went with this color- they're a little more neutral than the white or black. I hope your day is going well, my friend!
