Happy Friday, friends! I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika for this weekly blog post. How has your week been? Mine has been really good. The weather here has been crazy unpredictable this week and we've had cold weather and then weather in the mid 70's, low 80's. Because of that, everyone in the house has been suffering with sinus issues. It was my turn to start with the same issues today. So, other than everyone not feeling great, it's been a really good week.
I've been talking about music this week—it's been my favorite part of my days. I'm going to share a couple of my current favorites below.
Building 429 - Hope Is Here (Official Lyric Video)
The Thanksgiving Song by Ben Rector
Did you ever read my "Tuesday Around Town" blog posts where I wrote about the town I live? Well, in case you need further proof that where I live is the best to live, there are professional people who agree with me! Check out this list "Hallmark movie worthy" towns to visit—look at which town is named first! Here is a link for you to visit to read the article.
I took this picture last December. I spent last night there on the square with my friend Andrea. It was girl's night out and the shops stayed open late. We did some Christmas shopping! It was such a fun night.
This tree was beautiful, but the picture doesn't do it justice.
I've been getting up so early all week—around 4-4:30. Getting up early is my favorite! I love watching the sun slowly rise.
This coffee shop is so cute! It's called Square Beans. I wish I could say that it's my favorite, but truth be told, their coffee is terrible. It's such a shame too, because there is such potential with the cute building and all the charm. I am sort of a coffee snob, though and I am very picky about the coffee I drink. In my opinion, I make the best coffee and nobody else's compares. I don't like Starbucks either. Please don't hate me.
I spent some time writing out scripture yesterday. It was my favorite part of the week! I came across all my old scripture cards that I've either made or been given over the years and I tucked them away in a safe place.
Tuesday was a favorite day, because I spent quality time with my mom-in-love and we shopped a little. Also, peppermint milkshakes are my favorite!
My favorite thing is when the leaves fall off the trees. I was sitting in my car one morning this week and all of a sudden it started raining leaves! It was beautiful. I loved the way our house looked with leaves on the roof.
How was your week? I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for reading my blog, friends. Love to all! ❤
Your town does look so festive and adorable decked out for the season. How fun to be out later shopping. Our town has its Christmas festival THIS WEEKEND! (It is always the weekend before Thanksgiving which seemed so strange to me when we moved here.) Glad to hear you had a great week. I hope you have the best weekend, friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Maria! It was SUCH a fun night. In all the years I've lived here, I've never done that before. My friend Andrea and I decided it's going to be our new November girl's night out tradition!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! I'm curious to hear about your Christmas festival. It sounds like something straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie! I hope your week was good too! Enjoy your weekend, my friend.
I was on the square last night! It is always pretty to be there during the holidays. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love all the holiday lights and decorations during this time of the year. It just makes me so happy. :)
