Happy Friday, friends! I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika today for this weekly blog post.
First, I have to say thank you to all the new people who have stopped by to comment on my blog lately! Nothing says love quite like seeing encouragement in the form of blog comments at the end of each post. Blog love is my favorite and I also try to extend that to others. If that is you, thank you!
I participated in some of my favorite blog link ups this week—this one, when I talked about four somethings from the month of February, this post when I linked up with Tanya's blog and I wrote about my February books, and the "currently" post I wrote yesterday. Blog linkups are my favorite, even though they may not be for everyone else. I feel like after years of blogging, I've finally found my niche in this little community of women just like me. They're my favorite thing to read every morning.
If you know me at all, you know that Scripture writing plans are my favorite. I love this month's topic! I love to read and pray about the spiritual armor and what better time than now to write out all these verses on each piece of armor?
This is one of my favorite pictures from Jonah this week—this was him working on Wednesday and I made him take pictures of his truck pulling this trailer. One day he went to Todd's work and had him teach him how to pull a trailer. Jonah said his backup skills are impressive as he had to back this thing up a very long driveway and was able to succeed his very first try! That's impressive, in my book and I'm so proud of him.
Bible study days are my favorite and so is getting to hear my favorite teacher teach the week of study I wrote! I love this dear lady so very much and want to be just like her when I grow up. She even puts up with us when we tease her for her Southern accent. 💚
Look at my sweet buddy. He's my favorite because he is an excellent patient. Crash just had the first of his ACL repair surgeries last week. The two week mark is this coming Monday and he will get the staples out. Hopefully at that time he won't have to wear the donut around his neck anymore. Fingers crossed! The donut isn't too uncomfortable for him, because it's inflatable and plush.
Mondays are another favorite day for me, because that is the day I catch up on laundry and I put our house back together after a busy weekend. I always try to do something really easy for dinner on these nights and then the next day I go and grocery shop. Did you know that Tuesdays are less busy at the grocery stores than Mondays? True story.
This little stand is my newest favorite thing. I bought it Saturday when I was out with my mom and sister. I love our Saturdays out together—they're always a favorite bright spot during my week.
Other favorite moments from this week include, but are not limited to:
Reading! I finished two books this week. Well, kinda. One I finished on Sunday just in time to write my books blog post and then I finished another one last night. I plan on going to the library today at some point to return some books and to borrow some more for the weekend. Give me all the light and fluffy right now!
Friends and Fries. These are nights when some friends and I go out after church and catch up. Some weeks these nights are LIFE and this week was one such night. I'm over mean people on social media.
Seeing the body of Christ in action. We have had lots of death in our church family lately and I went to a memorial service for one dear man on Monday. He was the director of our orchestra at church and the worship ministry stepped up with meals for the family over the next few weeks.
Well, that's pretty much all I've got. Thanks for reading my blog! Love to all.
Cute little stand you found! Yes, I am also thankful for the blog community, although it hasn't been an active week of blogging for me. Hope to do more next week. Enjoy your weekend & this pretty weather!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marilyn! I love stores like HomeGoods and Marshall's and always find things at both. Their inexpensive prices help tremendously. 😉 I've missed you blogging this week...maybe this weekend will give you lots of content. Have a great one! ❤️
DeleteI'm impressed by anyone who can back up, especially with a trailer! Love your new pedestal...looks like mine. :) Hope you're having a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteTanya- RIGHT? I am too! Thank you, it reminded me of yours too! I saw it and grabbed it immediately. I needed something higher to hide my Google mini Nest chord. ;)
