December 25, 2013

I didn't want any gifts this year.  I had a lot of times of uncertainty with my health this year, along with a couple of cancer scares, and I have so many friends who are going through or have had major health issues in the past few months, so this is a different sort of Christmas for Todd and me.  Anything I could ever want or even imagine is in this picture above and under my roof.

We love and serve the one true God who has promised us eternal life, I am {way more than} happily married to the very man God created just for me and the man of my dreams, and I have these four beautiful boys that God has given us.  I have the honor and privilege of being Todd's wife and their mom.  I get to stay home with all four of them every single day.  We have good health and many days ahead of us.  We have the most amazing extended family to known to man.

All these things make me think of a verse out of Luke.

"But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required."  Luke 12:48

We have been given much, so much will be required of us in return.  We are responsible for being light and life to those who are perishing, to those who do not believe.

My prayer for this coming year is that the Lord uses us in mighty ways, for His glory.  My prayer for you is that if you don't know the Lord, that you will come to know Him.  My greatest wish and desire is that my kids know and love and serve God with all their heart, soul, strength and mind.

From our home to yours, I pray that you have a very merry Christmas, a happy New Year, but mostly I pray that you and your family experience the love of my sweet Jesus all the days of your life.

"May the LORD bless you and protect you.  May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you.  May the LORD show you His favor and give you His peace."  Numbers 6:24~26

Love to all.
