I'll keep it short on words, since it'll be loaded with pictures. For my non-Facebook peeps~ahem, Big Daddy. (I'm not taking time away from my family, they're watching a movie I've already watched. I'm about to hit the sack. I just thought I'd take some time to post before I go off into the Land of Nod.)
Today we spent a couple hours in Colonial Williamsburg. We had almost the entire place to ourselves. Our first stop was at the Governor's Palace.
I warned the boys that this week, they were going to have to suck up to the fact that I would be taking tons of pictures. ;) They did pretty well on our first day.
This was the back of the mansion. I love all the hedges.
This was a hedge maze that the boys went through. Todd was standing at the top of a hill overlooking at them and took this picture. Pretty cool, huh?
Our tour guide. That loved to bobble his head and wink while (seemingly) looking at my hubby. Maybe I'm just paranoid. ;)
Like I said, not a lot of people were there today, mainly because it was Sunday. This is national home educating week, so I expect lots more people tomorrow and Tuesday.
Just thought I'd share our first day! Hope you have a wonderful Monday. Love to all.
