Dinner and Bloggy Giveaway

We had the yummiest dinner.  Homemade pizza~2 kinds~pepperoni and macaroni and cheese.  Yup, that's what I said: mac'n'cheese, done CiCi's style.

Nana and Big Daddy are celebrating their anniversary tonight and I was forced to stumble around in my kitchen on a Saturday night.  It's a wonder I even know how to prepare a meal on a weekend.

But I managed.  I would show you a picture, but it doesn't look very pretty.  To uphold my Martha~like qualities, I will refrain from letting you see it.

LOL.  I am SO kidding.

This is what you will be receiving~a copy of Liz Curtis Higgs' latest novel, Here Burns My Candle.  This is a retelling of the story of Naomi and Ruth in the Bible, which just so happens to be one of the most amazing books in the Bible ever.

 

 I've read the back cover and I've flipped through it a little already, and it looks like a great read.
